Thoughts

I haven’t laughed this much or enjoyed a movie as much as “I Love You Man” in a long time – at least a week. Seriously though, this has got to be one of the best films ever. Everyone in the cast brought their game to this picture. Paul Rudd is so perfect at delivering a blend of introverted, subtle expression resulting in uncomfortable and undeniably funny moments. I can’t get over how much I loved this movie. If you are reading this and you haven’t seen it, stop what you are doing and go see it. If I could pre-order the DVD right now, I would. On top of it all, you get a performance by RUSH in the movie; in fact, Tom Sawyer is woven into the storyline. What more could you ask for?!

This has got to be the funniest thing I have seen in a long time; especially, if you know this song by heart like I do, you need to watch this. I just have to archive this here. Literally, this IS a literal interpretation of what you are seeing on screen and I literally can’t get enough. Enjoy.

Thanks to whoever took the time to make this. Unlike the Penny Lane example though literal in the same way, this video has captions with graphics which depict what it sounds like Joe Cocker is actually saying.

Rhys Darby is critical to the brilliance of this show.  This show is definitely not a one-man show, even though it is about and generated from the dynamic duo.  The clip below of Murray makes me laugh every time I think of it.  The clip below that is a live version of Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros.

Brilliant start to a new season.  Whatever authenticity people felt was lacking in the first episode of this season is more than made up for in this second show.  Sugar Lumps is a triumph as far as I am concerned.  Simply put, Flight Of The Conchords is a show you either get or you don’t.  If you get it, you are a fan for life, no questions.

This is a classic clip.  Jemaine pulls off a wicked Bowie impersonation.  Nicely done my friend.

No brand is safe and especially not Apple.  The Onion has the groundbreaking news about the inevitable MacBooks featuring one giant button instead of a keyboard.  Good news: everything on your computer is only a hundred clicks away!  I love the work they put into these news stories.  Classic.

I don’t know who doesn’t like this skit. If you run into someone who doesn’t, let me know. Below is the classic Walken Cowbell sketch from SNL.
