I discovered an awesome band yesterday from Sweden called “Peter Bjorn and John“. I don’t why I haven’t heard them yet but those days are over now. The tone and texture of the lead vocals are terrific, like a mixture of Neil Finn and Liam Gallagher. Do yourself a favor and go Listen to their music. “Young Folks” is a really cool track and then there are a lot of moments off of the new “Living Thing” record to check out such as “Objects Of My Affection.” I love the lyrics in that Objects Of My Affection track – “I am more me” – nice one guys. There is a measure of the sensibilities I like from The Beatles so much that is present in their songwriting and melody structure. Here is their link for iTunes. Enjoy!

This is possibly the BEST MP3 I HAVE EVER HEARD and the best DJ ever. Download it, Rinse, and Repeat as many times as is necessary. This set is EPIC in many ways. Every second of it is enjoyable and cathartic, filled with memorable and surprising moments as he blends so many styles together in such a cohesive and captivating way. KUDOS Kris!!

Album:Arm Chair Delusions Release Date:August 30, 2008 Summary:This debut album thoughtfully crafted by the hands of a talented and extremely prolific artist, Elijah Shepard, is inventive and well produced. The style of the writing is indulgent yet with just the right element of pop sensibility. Though the album is short, only 5 songs, it leaves a lasting impression and is clearly not hindered by its track count. Considering the emotional and commercial feel of this record, expect we’ll be hearing and seeing a lot from this artist for years to come. Track(s):
